Use of Funds to Purchase MTS:

Title I, Part A

Improving Basic Programs

If improving math achievement is specified in the school improvement plan, the book can be purchased for eligible students to use at home or as a supplement to the regular textbook in school. The book can be purchased for teachers along with training to teach math better. Training to families to use the book effectively can also be provided.

Title I, Part C

Education of Migratory Children

The book can be purchased for eligible students to use at home or as a supplement to the regular textbook in school. Training to families to use the book effectively can also be provided.

Title I, Part D

Prevention & Intervention for Delinquent Children/Youth

The book can be purchased for eligible students to use at home or residential facility.

Title II, Part A

Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting

If improving math achievement is specified in the school improvement plan, the book can be purchased with training to help teachers to learn how to a) teach math better, b) teach parents to help their children improve their math achievement.

Title II, Part D

Enhancing Education Through Technology

When we launch our MTS online support system, these funds can be used to support student access to math support.

Title III

Language Acquisition Program (LAP) Sub Grant

The book can be purchased for eligible students to use at home or as a supplement to the regular textbook in school.

Title V, Part A

Innovative Programs

If improving math achievement is specified in the school improvement plan, the book can be purchased for teachers, students or families and associated training could be conducted to effectively use the book to improve math achievement.

Title VI, Part B, Subpart 2

Rural and Low-Income School Program

If improving math achievement is specified in the school improvement plan, the book can be purchased for teachers, students, and families and associates training could be conducted to effectively use the book to improve math achievement.
